Q: Are calls into the CallVibe voicemail and conferencing systems free?
Yes, CallVibe does NOT charge its users for accessing its services. Standard long distance and/or cellular plan rates may apply. Users are asked to check their long distance or cellular phone plans prior to use.
Q: I cannot login to set my greeting or check my voice mail!
When you dial into the Callvibe.com number to access the voice mail area from the main menu, the system will prompt you to enter in your password. This is NOT the password you used when creating your account. If you do not know your voice mail password don't worry! Login to the website. On the home page you will see your 4-digit voice mail password. This is the password you will use for voice mail and setting up your greeting.
Q: Why should I use CallVibe voicemail and conferencing over my current services?
There are several reasons why you should either ditch your current voicemail service completely or use it in conjunction with CallVibe. First and foremost CallVibe voicemail service is 100% FREE! Most home phone services and some cellular plans charge extra fees for these services. Secondly if you are looking for the privacy and anonymity that giving out your home or cell phone number cannot deliver then CallVibe is definitely for you. Get piece of mind by giving out your CallVibe Mailbox ID instead of your home or cell phone number. Q: How can I access CallVibe's services?
If you have access to a phone line you have access to CallVibe. Call in to your voicemail or conference via your home phone, cellular or satellite phone.
Q: How long can I stay in a CallVibe phone conference or listen to my CallVibe voicemail messages?
You can use all of CallVibe's services for as long as you like 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Q: Can I check my voicemail through the CallVibe.com website?
Currently, our voicemail system works like any other. You need to call in to check your messages. In the future CallVibe will offer its users the ability to record messages as .wav files so they can be played online or from your mobile device.
Q: How many people can I have in my conference?
Currently there are NO limitations on the amount of people in your conference.
Q: Can anyone see my caller ID when I call in?
No. CallVibe is 100% committed to preserving the anonymity of its users. Your telephone number is kept completely private. Only YOU control how much information you would like to share with other CallVibe users.
Q: How can I stop a person from calling me and leaving me voicemail?
Email support with the time and date the message was left and we can block those callers for you.
Q: How do i use the CallVibe Voicemail System?
The CallVibe Voicemail System is simple to use. Take 60 seconds to create a free account online at register and then download our CallVibe desktop client. You will be assigned a unique mailbox ID. Give out your mailbox ID along with the CallVibe Universal voicemail number 1-504-353-6500 to anyone whom you would like to leave you voicemail.
Q: How do I setup a conference call?
Once the Callvibe.com client has been downloaded and installed, login with your username and password you provided when creating your account. Once logged in, click on the conference tab to create your conference room. The guest pin will be the 4 digit pin number you give to the parties joining your conference. The admin pin is also a 4 digit number that you should NOT give out. No one can join or use your conference room if the admin(owner) is not present! If at any point the admin leaves an active conference, all members of the conference will be kicked out and the conference will end. This is why it is important to keep the admin pin to yourself. At any point you can login via the Windows client to change your admin pin by updating the guest or admin pins.
Q: Why do I want to download the CallVibe desktop client?
The CallVibe Desktop Client gives you the ability to be notified instantly when you receive a new voicemail message. A small box will be displayed on the system tray of your Windows computer (bottom right of your screen) notifiying you of a new message when you are logged into the client.
Q: Does CallVibe bundle spyware or any other invasive software with its Desktop Client?
No! CallVibe respects your privacy as well as your right to decide what to install on your computer. We will never include anything with our software that may be harmful to you or your computer.
Q: What is the CallVibe.com People Section and how do I meet new people through CallVibe.com?
If you selected to have your profile viewed "publically" at your CallVibe registration
then it will show up in our CallVibe.com People Area.
You can browse or search for people based upon your location, marital status, age, and/or photo availability.
When you find someone of interest you can call and leave a voice mail message for all voicemail ID's are
displayed below user pictures.
